Post your questions for actor and musician Samantha Morton

Actor and musician Samantha Morton will take part in a live discussion at this weekend’s Green Man festival alongside Guardian writer Kate Hutchinson. The event will explore her work across acting, directing, and music, spanning more than two decades in the industry.

Morton’s career includes Oscar-nominated performances in *Sweet and Lowdown* and *In America*, as well as standout roles in *Morvern Callar* and *The Serpent Queen*. Her latest appearance on screen is as Circe in Christopher Nolan’s *The Odyssey*. Beyond acting, she made her directorial debut with *The Unloved*, which earned a Bafta for best single drama.

In 2024, Morton released *Daffodils & Dirt*, a deeply personal album created in collaboration with producer Richard Russell under the name Sam Morton. The project marked a new creative direction for her, blending music with her long-standing artistic practice.
